Based on the book Algorithmic Capital (Verso, 2026), this training course provides an understanding of how capitalism is changing in the era of digital platforms, artificial intelligence, and algorithmic governance. It repoliticizes technologies by showing that they are devices of power, exploitation, and control that are restructuring the economy, work, and democracy. Beyond critical analysis, it opens up a space for strategic reflection on how social organizations can position themselves in relation to digital technology. Participants develop the capacity for informed action by exploring alternatives such as digital commons, free software, and digital sobriety.
